Marijan Dović chairs a workshop on Habsburg literary censorhip, 1789–1914

On 6 September, Marijan Dović chaired the panel Censorship, Print, and Nations in the Habsburg Monarchy (ca. 1789–1914)’ as part of the 2022 biennial congress of the European Society of Comparative Literature, which was hosted by the Sapienza University of Rome. Panelists included Norbert Bachleitner, Marko Juvan, Marina Protrka Štimec, Orsolya Rákai, Daniel Syrovy, Luka Vidmar, Michael Wögerbauer and the chair. The panel is a continuation of collaborative work that recently resulted in a special issue of Slavica TerGestina titled Habsburg Censorship and Literature in the Slovenian Lands.
