CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture 15.5 (2013). Posebna številka: World Literatures from the Nineteenth to the Twenty-first Century. Ur. Marko Juvan

V vsaki nacionalni literaturi, regiji ali v današnjih večkulturnih družbah soobstajajo različni koncepti in/ali prakse svetovne književnosti. Sodelavci posebne številke Svetovne književnosti od devetnajstega do enaindvajsetega stoletja preučujejo Goethejev pojem Weltliteratur in poznejše diskurze svetovne literature, pri čemer obravnavajo naslednja vprašanja: perspektiviranost svetovne književnosti; antične, predmoderne, evropske in azijske verzije svetovne književnosti; periodizacijo svetovne literature; odnose med raziskavami svetovne književnosti in primerjalno literarno- kulturno vedo, literarnim transnacionalizmom in postkolonialnimi študiji; svetovne literature in orientalizem, hegemonijo, »tretji svet« in imperializem; svetovne književnosti in kulturni transfer; soodvisnost svetovnih in nacionalnih literatur; drugost in univerzalnost v svetovni književnosti; globalno vlogo perifernih literatur.
