Vlasta Pacheiner Klander receives The World Sanskrit Award

Vlasta Pacheiner Klander, retired researcher at the ZRC SAZU Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Studies, is the 2023 recipient of The World Sanskrit Award, the highest recognition for work in the field of Sanskrit studies awarded by the Republic of India. The most prestigious international award in Sanskrit studies was given to Professor Pacheiner Klander by the Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, Meenakshi Lekhi, in a ceremony that took place on 18 April 2023 at the University of Ljubljana.
