Marko Juvan guest speaker at the University of Gour Banga

On 29 September, Marko Juvan, Head of the ZRC SAZU Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Studies, held an online guest-lecture on ‘Worldliness, Worlds, and Worlding of Literature’ at the University of Gour Banga in Malda, India. This was the closing event in the series of forty guest-lectures at the university’s Department of English. In his lecture, Professor Juvan drew on the main arguments of his recent book, Worlding a Peripheral Literature (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019).
