Nika Pinter’s research interests include Slovenian narrative literature from the late eighteenth to the early twentieth centuries, baroque literature of Slovenian lands, and aesthetics and ethics.

Nika Pinter was born in Celje in 2000. After graduating from Gimnazija Celje – Center, she studied Slovenian Studies and Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, where she graduated in 2023 with the BA thesis The Moral and Ethical Viewpoint of Josip Stritar. She continued her studies at the MA level at both departments and graduated in 2025 with the MA theses Slovenian Baroque Literature as a Source of Life Wisdom and Virtue and Schopenhauer on the Foundations of Buddhist and Hindu Philosophy. In 2025, she became a doctoral student at the Postgraduate School ZRC SAZU and a Research Assistant at the Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Studies (supervisor: Andrejka Žejn).
