‘How to Think World Literature from Its Edge?’

Marko Juvan, Principal Research Associate at the Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Studies, has given a plenary speech at the 23rd Congress of the International Comparative Literature Association, which was held from 24–29 June 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Titled ‘How to Think World Literature from Its Edge? A Reassessment’, Juvan’s speech built on his recent book, Worlding a Peripheral Literature (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019), in which he develops a decolonial examination of peripheral literary systems and their global significance.
